Compassionate Care for Infertility
Dr. Mewada has a unique perspective on infertility because of his own personal experience when he and his wife were trying to conceive. So he brings a tremendous amount of expertise and compassion to helping women and couples overcome infertility problems. He starts with a comprehensive fertility evaluation of both partners together. After some basic lab testing, he provides you and your partner with a recommendation.
Possible treatments include:
Fertility drugs to stimulate ovulation: Fertility drugs are the primary treatment for women with ovulation disorders. They regulate or induce ovulation. Ask Dr. Mewada about your fertility drug options.
Intrauterine insemination (IUI): During IUI, we place healthy sperm directly in the uterus around the time of ovulation. IUI can either be coordinated with your normal cycle or with your use of fertility medications.
Surgery to restore fertility: We treat endometrial polyps, uterine septum or intrauterine scar tissue with hysteroscopy.
Your treatment depends on the cause of infertility, duration of infertility, your age and partner's age and your personal preferences. Sometimes infertility cannot be corrected.
